If you try to post to a Blog, using cut-and-paste from a Word document file, you may find surprises in formating. Try saving it as a Web page or as an .htm file and things seem to work better.
Anyone who's really good at this stuff, please feel welcome to pitch in. Remember that I was nearly 40 before I first used a computer and there are some developmental gaps, here.
